Course: CAD through Engineering, Architecture, and Urban Planning
Description: Students are taught CAD on Sketchup beginning with basic 2D and 3D figures. Then they learn about famous architecture and design their own using architectural drawing skills. They continue onto a Engineering focused module in which they design a glider in CAD. Finally, they design an original and creative community using Urban Planning and CAD skills they have learnt. It is a 25 lesson class spanning over 12 to 13 weeks.
Class Structure: Classes will consist either of project work days or content learning days. They will participate in individual and group work Students are expected to commit to two classes per week, lasting from 45 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes. Each class consists of an instructor and 5 students to enable a closer class dynamic.
